Kaysen's first day of Kindergarten Aug. 3, 2011

Kaysen was so excited to go to school and ride the bus for the first time! He asked all morning when it was time to go. I would say after lunch and we will go. Then he would say well lets have lunch right now. He couldn't wait. It was weird having Ashlyn and him both gone for the afternoon. Bryce is going to be bored or glad that he won't  have any one bugging  him for a few hours. 

 What a handsome boy he is!!!

Ashlyn's First Day of School July 26, 2011

Wow I can't believe Ashlyn is in 1st Grade. She has grown up so fast. She was so excited to return back to school and see her friends. I made her a yummy shake for breakfast. She is not used to waking up so early. She did pretty good. It was a little rushed though. I am sure it will get better.

LAGOON July 21, 2011

Steve took a day off to do something fun with the kids. We decided to take them to Lagoon. The kids loved spending the whole day with their Daddy. We even did bounce back and went a second day. If you come within a week it is only $10 each to get in. So we wanted to take advantage of the deal.

 Bryce was a little nervous starting out. so we took him on the slowest ride possible. The boats. He cried for a bit until it started going and then I think he quite enjoyed it.

 The Airplane ride was a lot of fun for them. Bryce really liked it. He always likes to point out the airplanes in the sky. so maybe he thought it would be fun to go in one.

 Here we are on the train. It was fun to see all the animals they had there.

 Steve and Ashlyn going on the mouse roller coaster. I went on this with her the second day. I thought it was pretty scary. You totally felt like you were going to fly right off the track. I am surprised Ashlyn liked it so much.

 This fish ride was Bryce's favorite ride. It didn't go to fast. He wanted to go on it over and over. Then they closed it and he was not very happy!

 The octopus ride was a big hit. The kids went on this over and over. I took Bryce on it a few times. The last time you said no to me. I thought that was funny. I think he was definitely finished!!

About 3 min after we started driving home they were all out.  I guess we wore them out pretty good!! It was a great day!!

Happy Birthday to ME! July 14, 2011

I took the kids to Cowabunga Bay water park  with friends. The kids loved the water slides. Then that evening my friends took me out to dinner at Zupas and then went to Red Mango for frozen yogurt. My two favorite places! Then when I got home Steve surprised me with shelving in the Garage and had the Garage cleaned. He also had a yummy carrot cake made for me. I am not very good with surprises. I am going to enjoy organizing this shelving unit. I am hoping to use them for lockers for the kids coats and shoes. Thanks Steve for all of your hard work. I had a wonderful day!!

Trip to Logan to visit cousins! July 8, 2011

Bryce's first time in a forward facing car seat. He loved it!! They recommend that you keep your babies rear facing till they are 2. I think that is just torture. So we lasted this long. He will be two in 4 months.

Yard Work July 7, 2011

So we decided to cut some of our trees down. Steve had a lot of fun using the chain saw. We cut 4 down and there is still a lot of work to be done. We wanted more room in our yard to plant Peach and Pear trees.  Also these trees are a lot of maintenance so we kept a few for shade.

 Some of my yummy peas from my garden. We mainly picked and ate them raw. I cooked a little for dinner one night!

Independence Day!!! July 4, 2011

We had my Uncle Wade, Aunt Karen and their kids Whitney, Garrett, and Jade and also my friend Jolynn and her kids Hayley and Maddy over for a BBQ and fire works. We bought our first BBQ so Steve had to get a few tips.  He got the hang of it pretty fast.

 Bryce loves Jolynn. There is not very many people he will go up to and let them hold him.

 So we didn't spend very much at all on fireworks so Steve decided to make it a little more exciting by picking them up and running around with them. It was pretty entertaining.

Cousin Jade, her boyfriend and my Uncle Wade. My Uncle Wade and Aunt Karen just moved here from Indiana to be closer to their kids. It will be fun to see them more often.
